On Sunday, Donald Trump said during a Fox News town hall where he threw himself a massive pity party: “Nobody got treated worse than Lincoln. I believe I am treated worse.” Sure, getting assassinated by being shot in the head is far worse than having reporters ask the president questions. Well, Donald continued his pathetic attack on the press today by smearing MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough by suggesting the host is responsible for the 2001 death of one of his congressional staffers.

And of course, Trump said the show has “bad ratings.”

It appears that Trump is referring to Lori Klausutis’ death, a 28-year-old intern who was found dead in Scarborough’s office in Florida when he was a Republican congressman. The intern’s death was ruled accidental by a medical examiner who said Klausutis had passed out because of an undiagnosed heart condition and hit her head on a desk. And now, nearly sixty-eight thousand Americans are dead from the potentially deadly coronavirus that Trump failed to act upon when he first learned of the threat in November. Thirty million Americans are suddenly out of work while sheltering at home to flatten the coronavirus curve. But her emails…
