Trump Tries To Claim His Ex-Wife Ivana Was A ‘Wonderful Person’ And People Made Him Instantly Regret It

He can't escape the truth.

Donald Trump recently caused a stir when he claimed that his ex-wife, Ivana Trump, was a “wonderful person” and that they had a “great relationship.” This bold statement came after Trump slammed the new movie The Apprentice on his social media platform, Truth Social. He called the film a “pile of garbage” made by “human scum.”

The Apprentice is a biopic directed by Ali Abbasi. It stars Sebastian Stan as a young Trump trying to make a name for himself in New York real estate. The film includes some shocking scenes, including one where Trump is shown raping Ivana, who is played by Maria Bakalova. This portrayal did not sit well with Trump, who fired off a furious post at 12:48 a.m. to complain.

In his rant, Trump insisted, “Ivana was a kind and wonderful person.” He even claimed they had a great relationship “until the day she died.” This sounds sweet, but it’s hard to take his word for it when we consider the past. During their high-profile divorce in the 1990s, Ivana made serious accusations against Trump, including saying he dragged her by the hair and raped her. While she later took back that claim, it raises eyebrows about Trump’s version of their relationship.

Social media users jumped on Trump’s claims. One user, Sabrina 🌻💙💛, tweeted, “He had a ‘Great friendship’ with Ivana? Sure, sure, sure…Donald lies again!!! That’s why her grave is on a golf course in a coffin full of secret documents!”

Another user, BestBet, didn’t hold back, saying, “Is that why she filed a court claim during #Trump’s DIVORCE from her, stating he dragged her by the hair and raped her? And her grave is untended?”

That’s a solid point. If their relationship was so great, why all the drama? Piyush Mittal joined in, tweeting, “Trump is incapable of having a ‘great relationship’ with anyone. He raped Ivana.”

This tweet cuts right to the heart of the matter. It’s hard to see how someone who behaved so badly could describe their relationship in such glowing terms. Even more people weighed in. Carol N said, “Yes, Ivana was kind and wonderful until her NDA expired and she ended up at the bottom of the stairs.”

This is a not-so-subtle jab at the secrecy surrounding Ivana’s life. It seems like Trump had a habit of silencing women who might speak out against him. Millennial Hippie aka Sarah tweeted, “If they had such a great relationship, then why was his former wife Ivana under a gag order and not allowed to speak about their marriage without his permission?”

It’s hard to believe Trump had a loving relationship with Ivana when she couldn’t even talk about it because of a gag order.

Trump’s ego couldn’t handle the truth, and his words made things worse. He might have thought calling Ivana “wonderful” was smart, but social media wasn’t convinced. Instead of being taken seriously, people did not hold back from mocking him.
