Let’s be honest here, Donald Trump has had a really bad week.
The rape and defamation trial raging against him by world-renowned advice columnist E. Jean Carroll — who has accused the now-former president of brutally raping her in the dressing room of a Manhattan department store in the 1990s — has been in full swing this week, and not in the big guy’s favor. Multiple reports and possible hints from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis herself has indicated that yet another round of criminal charges against Trump are coming down the pike, this time in the ongoing Georgia election investigation against the ex-president and many of his allies. And to ice this proverbial cake, The Justice Department investigations into Trump, spearheaded by Garland-appointed DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith, are gaining serious and detrimental steam this week, as Smith sets his sights on the Trump Organization’s top-security goons while gaining more and more evidence against the corrupt ex-president in both the Mar-a-Lago stolen document case, as well as their investigation into the infamous, deadly January 6th Capitol attack and Trump’s overall efforts to overthrow the 2020 presidential election.
Suffice it to say, it’s been a long, hard week for the washed-up former guy and it seems there’s no end in sight.
As you would expect, Trump hasn’t exactly been handling these developments well. But it seemed Donald’s emotional unrest hit a fever pitch in the late hours of last night and wee early hours of this morning, when he took to his struggling Truth Social platform and proceeded to have what can only really be described as a complete, unhinged mental breakdown, specifically over the recent movements in Special Counsel Smith’s, who Trump dubbed the “Special ‘Persecutor,'” ongoing investigations within the DOJ.

In his first Truth Social post, Trump raged:
The Special ‘Prosecutor,’ Jack Smith, who is harassing, threatening, and terrorizing people who work for me, probably illegally, and totally at odds with the way Crooked Joe Biden is being treated, will no longer be known as the Special ‘Prosecutor,’ but rather, the Special ‘Persecutor.’ He is a Trump Hating SLIMEBALL who is going far beyond the original instructions of the Department of Injustice. The Witch Hunt continues, as it always will, with the Radical Left, Country Destroying, Lunatics!”
Trump followed this up with a second post moments later, in which he included a rather ominous and unsettling warning to the American people, writing, “All of these Fake Prosecutions are merely being done to Interfere with, and Influence, our Elections. It is a dangerous time in America!!!”
I certainly think it’s safe to say that Donald Trump is truly breaking down at this point.
