Trump’s Campaign Shares Video That Backfires As Fan Hits Ex-President With Brutal Salute At Steeler’s Football Game

That middle finger says it all.

Donald Trump attended the Pittsburgh Steelers football game, hoping for a warm welcome, but things didn’t go exactly as planned. Trump’s campaign team posted a video showing him waving from a private suite at the stadium, but the video quickly backfired. Why? Because a fan in the crowd gave him not one, but two middle fingers! It was a surprising moment, especially since Trump later thanked the fans for what he called a “great reception.” But clearly, not everyone was happy to see him.

The game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets took place at Acrisure Stadium, and Trump was there as a guest in a private suite. In the video, while some fans chanted “U-S-A,” there was one woman who stood out. Wearing sunglasses, she boldly flipped Trump off with both hands while seemingly booing him. The video was originally shared by Trump campaign staffer Margo Martin, but social media users quickly noticed the awkward moment.

A Twitter account called PatriotTakes highlighted the scene, tweeting, “A woman gave Trump double middle fingers at the Steelers game. MAGA hasn’t noticed and is posting it everywhere.”

The irony was hard to miss—Trump’s supporters were sharing the clip without realizing it showed people who didn’t want him there. But it wasn’t just one person who showed their dislike for Trump. At least one other fan at the game also gave him the middle finger, according to a photo from the Associated Press.

This wasn’t exactly the warm, friendly reception that Trump’s team tried to promote. Even though Trump waved and smiled, it was clear that not everyone in the crowd was happy with his visit. Trump himself tried to brush it off, writing on his Truth Social platform, “Thank you to the Steelers fans for the great reception tonight.”

This actually isn’t the first time Trump has been met with such reactions at sports events. Last year, during a college football game between Iowa and Iowa State, he also faced boos and middle fingers. It seems like football fans aren’t too eager to show their support for the former president.

Despite these negative reactions, Trump keeps trying to show that he’s popular with everyday Americans. However, incidents like this one at the Steelers game make it clear that many people are tired of his antics. Even though he tries to ignore or downplay the criticism, it’s hard to miss the signs—literally.

Art Candee on Twitter summed up the moment perfectly, saying, “Someone find that woman and buy her a beer!”

The Pittsburgh Steelers game wasn’t the celebration Trump had hoped for, and as he continues his campaign, it’s clear he’ll face more moments like this. Football fans, at least, aren’t afraid to show him how they really feel, and sometimes, a middle finger says it all.
