Taxpayers are becoming numb to forking over the money needed for essential issues like fixing our country’s infrastructure and health care system so that President Mar-a-Lardass can venture to one of his many properties while propping up his businesses. So, another $3.4 million of taxpayer money was spent so Donald Trump could go to Florida this weekend to host a Super Bowl party for paying guests at his for-profit golf course, where the likes of Diamond and Silk and other MAGA sycophants attended.
According to the Huffington Post, Trump’s official schedule showed him spending two and a half hours Sunday evening at a “Super Bowl LIV watch party” at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. Trump has been promoting his businesses while in office even though he promised to divest, and if the Emoluments Clause could scream, its voice would have been hoarse ages ago.
It costs a lot of money to be in the “president’s” orbit:
Tickets sold for $75 each, but were only available to members of the club — the initiation fee for which reportedly runs about $450,000, with annual dues costing several thousands of dollars more.”

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham apparently thinks that Trump spending our taxpayer money while promoting his businesses is “false” even though the “president” has been well-documented in doing this ever since he broke into the White House.
“The premise of your story is ridiculous and false, and just more left-wing media bias on display,'” Grisham insisted. “The president never stops working, and that includes when he is at the Winter White House.”
Team Trump refers to Mar-a-Lago as the “Winter White House,” but after the former reality show star’s election, the Florida resort doubled its initiation fee from $100,000 to $200,000.
A reporter asked the White House on Saturday what work Trump did over the weekend and was told the “president” had taken calls and “meetings with staff.” That’s kind of odd since that’s the very day Trump unleashed a tweet with a photo of the “president” golfing. I suppose that’s what Grisham considers to be hard work. Well, that and tweeting. Wow, I need a gig like that.
Taxpayers have now forked over a total of $130.4 million for Trump’s golfing excursions. That doesn’t seem to bother the MAGA-rubes, though. Trump supporters are concerned about more pressing issues such as getting salty over Beyoncé and Jay-Z not standing for the national anthem at the Superbowl while their “president” funnels taxpayer dollars into his greedy little pockets.
