UK Appears To Reject Trump’s Offer To Help With Boris Johnson’s Medical Care: “Any Treatment He Receives Is A Matter For His Doctors”

You know you suck when the guy's on the edge of death and still doesn't want your help.

As I’m sure you’re well aware by now, the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson is extremely sick with the deadly coronavirus that’s now sweeping the globe.

The leader of the UK announced recently that he has contracted the virus and has seemingly only gone downhill since, ultimately being admitted to the intensive care unit for worsening symptoms of the illness yesterday. But even as his condition steadily worsens, it seems that Donald’s UK counterpart still has absolutely no interest in taking any assistance from America’s joke-in-chief.

The announcement of Johnson’s admission to the ICU yesterday evidently prompted Trump to offer up his assistance in the Prime Minister’s care during his Coronavirus Task Force Briefing yesterday.

“I’ve asked two of the leading companies… They’ve come with the solutions and just have done incredible jobs — and I’ve asked him to contact London immediately,” Trump said during the presser. “They’ve really advanced therapeutics … and they have arrived in London already. The London office has whatever they need. We’ll see if we can be of help. We’ve contacted all of Boris’s doctors, and we’ll see what is going to take place, but they are ready to go.”

However, according to a statement from a spokesperson for the Prime Minister, they’re not interested.

“On this specific point… We’re confident the prime minister is receiving the best possible care from the National Health Service. Any treatment he receives is a matter for his doctors,” Johnson’s spokesperson stated. “we are grateful for all of the warm wishes the prime minister has received overnight.”

Downing Street, the British equivalent of the White House, announced this morning that the Prime Minister “remains in good spirits” and was receiving “standard oxygen treatment and breathing without any other assistance.”

But you’ve got to admit, it’s pretty bad when the guy’s literally in the ICU with a virus that’s now killed tens of thousands of people and he still doesn’t want Donald Trump having anything to do with helping him recover.
