According to a breaking new report from the Wall Street Journal, longtime Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg is expected to be hit with criminal charges tomorrow.
Sources familiar with the matter spoke with the Journal and revealed, “the Manhattan district attorney’s office is expected to charge the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer with tax-related crimes” this week, as part of their investigation that could ultimately implicate and indict former president Donald Trump.
The charges will come from Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s office, which has been investigating the disgraced ex-president and his business empire for a long three years now. Throughout their investigation, the Manhattan DA’s office has garnered extensive cooperation from a handful of former Trump insiders, such as his former personal attorney and “fixer” Michael Cohen, who was deeply embroiled in the hush-money payments scheme, as well as Allen Weisselberg’s own ex-daughter-in-law Jennifer Weisselberg who has spoken out several times now on what she experienced when her husband worked within the Trump empire as well as the ways she believes Donald Trump forces loyalty from his employees.
Allen Weisselberg has been a talking point in the media for some time now, not just for the criminal charges being lodged against him, but the speculation over whether or not he will ultimately flip on former President Trump in an effort to save his own skin and that of his children. We just recently reported that Donald Trump allegedly uses his employee’s children as yet another way to keep people loyal by hiring his employees’ kids so that they will also be implicated in crimes if or when the shoe finally does drop.

Trump has reportedly been keeping Weisselberg close lately as the investigations continue to heat up.
