Just when Donald Trump, I’m sure, believed that things couldn’t get much worse for him — considering the past two weeks of public impeachment hearings have only served to prove him even more guilty than before — things have gotten much, much worse.
It was reported last week that one of Rudy Giuliani’s indicted henchmen in the Ukraine scandal was locked and loaded with a rather explosive testimony that he was more than willing to give to the House Intelligence Committee as part of the impeachment inquiry process.
And according to a bombshell report that dropped today, Giuliani’s former man is making good on that promise.
Lev Parnas, who found himself arrested back in October alongside fellow Giuliani henchman Igor Fruman for illegally boosting GOP election campaigns with foreign money (charges that are entirely separate from the impeachment inquiry that’s currently underway, has now handed over a treasure trove of secret recordings and photographs to investigators on the House Intelligence Committee — all of which are in connection to Trump’s attempt to extort the country of Ukraine into giving him dirt on Joe Biden.

According to the report from ABC News, the material handed over by the former Giuliani associate contains both video and audio recordings as well as photographs of Trump and Giuliani together. Parnas also handed over a trove of documents written in both English and Ukrainian.
The report indicates that the committee started digging through the materials last week and noted that Parnas delivered the material in compliance with a subpoena issued to him by the committee back in October.
So far, we’re unsure what the material handed over by Parnas contains, and Lev’s attorney Joseph A. Bondy refused to comment on the contents in his statement.
“Mr. Parnas has vociferously and publicly asserted his wish to comply with his previously issued subpoena and to provide the House Intelligence Committee with truthful and important information that is in furtherance of justice, not to obstruct it,” Bondy stated to ABC News.
It’s strikingly clear that despite Donald’s best attempts to prohibit individuals from complying with subpoenas and testifying to Congress through blatant intimidation tactics, it’s simply not working out for him. While he’s managed to stop a few over the past several months, it’s certainly not been enough, nor the right ones. And I can only imagine things will be getting far worse for him from here.
