Trump is lying because he's terrified.

Donald Trump is once again trying to gaslight the public with a looming impeachment by citing poll numbers that don’t seem to exist. Contrary to Trump tweeting that support for his impeachment is “dropping like a rock,” that’s not factually correct. And you’ll notice that the only polling Trump ever cites is Rasmussen, and they just aren’t a credible source. Trump typically just throws alleged poll numbers out there without linking to a source.

“Support for Impeachment is dropping like a rock, down into the 20’s in some Polls,” Trump tweeted. “Dems should now get down to work and finally approve USMCA, and much more!”

And again:

CNN correspondent Manu Raju did a fact-check on the “president’s” dubious claim.

Trump is fake news. Anyone can Google his claims but only his rabid, firebreathing, lint-licking supporters take him at his word. And that explains this:

CNN’s Ryan Struyk also weighed in to provide a little history lesson that should terrify Trump.

We’re not sure why the public was polled on impeaching former President Barack Obama, though. We knew about Clinton lying about a consensual blowjob, but the only impeachable offenses that triggered conservatives that I can remember are that he used fancy mustard once, and wore a tan suit. Also, he was presidenting while black.
