Republican Voters Against Trump is a group that features former supporters of the president in their videos that now support presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. In one video, the group featured Miles Taylor, a former senior Trump administration official. He endorsed Joe Biden’s presidential campaign recently, and even though the president claims not to know him, there is evidence to the contrary.
Taylor served as a political appointee at the Department of Homeland Security from 2017 to 2019 in the Trump administration and as chief of staff to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. But now, Taylor is warning that Donald Trump is “unfocused” and “undisciplined.” Trump, of course, lashed out to call Taylor a “lowlife.”
Well, Trump wanted his officials to watch conspiracy theorist Lou Dobbs show “every night.” I can’t imagine anyone wanting to hear a 74-year-old man spouting off about the imaginary “deep state” that is set up to take Trump down. Also, Dobbs is a birther just as Trump is.
Taylor told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that during his time working for the agency, Dobbs was jokingly referred to as the “shadow chief of staff” for the Trump administration. Taylor went on to say that Trump would call him and his other colleagues to say, “Why the hell didn’t you watch Lou Dobbs last night? You need to listen to Lou. What Lou says is what I want to do.”

“So if Lou Dobbs peddled a conspiracy theory on late-night television or made an erroneous claim about what should be done either at the border or with some law enforcement operation, the president wanted us to be tuning in every night,” Taylor added.

What an utterly ridiculous president, asking his officials to turn in to watch Lou Dobbs spit out a conspiratorial word vomit on-the-air. And to do that every single night.
