The recent wedding of Donald Trump Jr. to his second wife, Bettina Anderson, made news for one thing more than any other: The president’s choice not to attend.

Two weeks later, there’s a story that the new presidential daughter-in-law, who immediately changed her last name on Instagram, has big plans- and she may aspire to serve as First Lady herself.

According to The Daily Mail, Bettina has a “secret masterplan.”

“For all the glamor, the socialite lifestyle and movie-star good looks, the truth, as told to the Daily Mail by multiple sources, is that the Florida-born 39-year-old has long harbored a very straightforward ambition: to get married and have children. And in Trump Jr, 48, she has found the tall, dark and handsome multi-millionaire of her dreams,” the Mail said.

Don Jr. had five children with his first wife, Vanessa.

“‘First lady? Are you kidding? Of course she would love that,” one of the Daily Mail’s sources said. “That is pretty much her life goal realized. She changed her handle on Instagram to Trump faster than posting any wedding photos.”

Bettina’s sister went on the record with the Mail to state that she “‘been wanting to get married for ages.”

Another detail in the story? Bettina grew up in a home that featured a needlepoint cushion with the phrase “You can never be too rich or too thin.”

But of course, Bettina becoming First Lady would require Don Jr. to become president, which appears somewhat unlikely.
