Now former Chair of the Republican National Committee Ronna McDaniel has officially transitioned over to her new role with NBC after she was all but ousted from the RNC to make room for Donald Trump’s hand picks, including his own daughter-in-law as co-chair, to ensure that the Committee would be doing his bidding from the inside out, without question.
In the midst of and aftermath of her resignation, people have attempted to paint McDaniel in a new, almost centric light — as though she wasn’t as bad as we once thought and should somehow be praised for standing up to the monster that is Donald Trump by refusing to comply with his desires for the RNC to essentially act as his personal bank.
However, one particular expert is already speaking out to say… Not so fast.
Larry Sabato, Director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia and a prominent voice in electoral forecasting, was among those who watched McDaniel’s NBC debut and found himself, like many others, highly unimpressed.

In fact, he took to X (formerly known as Twitter) following Ronna’s segment on Meet The Press and warned the public that McDaniel is no different now than the “complete, total LIAR” she has always been and should never be forgiven for the way she enabled Donald J. Trump for years, helping to catapult him into a position that serves as a serious danger to this entire nation.
“I watched,” Sabato said in his X post. “She was what I expected: a complete, total LIAR who should never be forgiven for being a senior Trump enabler and trying to stop the peaceful transfer of power. No Traitors,” complete with the hashtag, “NoRonna.”

Sabato wasn’t the only one to speak out on the matter, with Mehdi Hasan, who was formerly with NBC himself, taking to X to write, ” It seems that multiple media networks were interested in hiring Ronna McDaniel – whose RNC referred to a violent insurrection as ‘legitimate political discourse’ – which tells us that our media is broken & 2024 election coverage will be 2016 on steroids.”

Suffice it to say, Ronna McDaniel isn’t fooling anyone.
