Donald Trump often spends hours posting odd, questionably truthful material to Truth Social, but he nearly outdid himself on Thursday night into Friday morning.
Among other posts, Trump reposted a bogus viral social media post that purported to feature Clint Eastwood praising Trump. (The quote was not legitimately from Eastwood.)
Also, in reference to this week’s indictment of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which alleged they committed fraud by using paid informants, Trump demanded that “the 2020 Presidential Election should be permanently wiped from the books and be of no further force or effect!” The SPLC did not mention the 2020 election, or allege anything related to any wrongdoing by SPLC in connection with that election.

As noted by influencer Harry Sisson, Trump’s Truth Social posts also called for former President Obama and Hillary Clinton to be arrested for treason, while calling for Sen. Chuck Schumer to resign.
“This man is not well. He is a demented lunatic who is spiraling out of control. He must be impeached and removed from office,” Sisson said.
Trump had another mental health episode and spiraled out of control on social media last night:

12:19am – Posts a tweet saying Obama tried to “overthrow the government in 2016.”

The day before, Trump had posted a long rant attacking China and India. The rant was taken from a monologue by podcast host Michael Savage and drew condemnation, especially in India.
“President Trump provoked a broad backlash this week when he posted a transcript from a right-wing podcast in which the host referred to China and India as ‘hellhole’ places and said recent immigrants from those countries had not ‘integrated’ into America as ‘European Americans’ had,” the New York Times reported.
The Indian government responded:

“We are deeply disturbed by @POTUS sharing this hateful, racist screed targeting Indian and Chinese Americans,” the Hindu American Foundation, said in a statement on X. “Endorsing such rants as the president of the United States will further stoke hatred and endanger our communities, at a time when xenophobia and racism are already at an all time high.”
