I truly think that Donald Trump didn’t just hope, but actually believed way down in that hole where his soul should be that, once he announced his 2024 presidential campaign (his third consecutive run at the White House) no one on his side of the political fence would have the gumption or the audacity to challenge him. I think he truly and honestly believed the 2024 presidential election was going to be a sweep, with only his name on the ticket.
He was wrong.
In the days and weeks since Trump’s pitiful 2024 campaign launch, multiple Republican opponents have thrown their hats into the ring, including many of Donald’s own former allies — such as his own former vice president and right-hand man Mike Pence and ex-New Jersey governor and one-time staunch MAGA ally Chris Christie.
Suffice it to say, Trump hasn’t handled this less-than-friendly competition very well… At all.
The scandal-plagued former guy has made a meal out of launching petty, disgusting insults against his opponents at every chance he gets these days — a move that, of course, is far from out of the ordinary for Donald J. Trump and he apparently only knows how to deal from the bottom of the deck.

But the big guy (emphasis on big here) took things a full step over to the hypocritical side yesterday when he dumped a dirty, underhanded “fat joke” on his former friend turned rival Chris Christie during his New Hampshire campaign rally.
To make the matter even more ironic, not only was Donald every bit as morbidly overweight himself as he’s always been, he was also looking particularly sweaty and agitated.
“Christie, he’s eating right now. He can’t be bothered,” Trump said, igniting some laughter from his crowd.
After taking a pause for dramatic effect, the disgraced former president started right back in with the crass cracks, adding, “Sir, please do not call him a fat pig.”
“That’s very disrespectful. Don’t call him that,” Trump went on as the crowd continued to laugh. “See, I’m, I’m trying to be nice. Don’t call him a fat pig. You can’t, can’t do that. So now, because you’re not allowed to do that, and therefore we’re not going to do it, okay? We want to be very civil.”

It’s really no wonder Trump has his knickers in a particular twist over Christie, as the former NJ governor is now polling in second place in New Hampshire, with the most recent New Hampshire Journal poll published on Tuesday showing Christie tied in the state with controversial FL Governor Ron DeSantis.
Of course, social media wasted no time in letting Trump know exactly where the irony was:
The orange, obese guy is calling someone else obese. I guess Donald Trump doesn’t have a mirror or he has vision issues.
