The president went on an even faster-than-usual Truth Social posting binge on Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, Donald Trump fired off 13 Truth Social posts in rapid succession, mostly to brag about how the candidates that he endorsed were victorious in their primary elections on Tuesday night.

As noted by the Daily Beast, Trump ” embarked on a 6:23 A.M. Truth Social spree to boast about how he still has the Midas Touch—at least, within his own party.” This included a brag by Trump that candidates he endorsed had a 37-0 record in Tuesday night’s primary contests, either in winning primaries or advancing to runoffs.

This was technically true, although the majority of the candidates Trump endorsed were in races that were either completely uncontested or uncompetitive.

“Each update followed boilerplate format, with the caption: ‘ENDORSED BY PRESIDENT TRUMP!,’ the Beast noted. “His messages followed 25 from the previous evening, all of them in the same template.”

The big win for Trump was the Republican House primary victory in Kentucky by  Ed Gallrein, who defeated incumbent Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), who had crossed Trump on various fronts, on everything from the release of the Epstein files to the war in Iran.

“Massie had repeatedly locked horns with the president since Trump assumed the White House for the second time last year, most notably over the Jeffrey Epstein saga,” the Daily Beast said. “Massie co-authored bipartisan legislation that, last year, forced Trump to release millions of Justice Department documents related to Epstein.”

Trump even took to X, a platform he rarely uses, on election day, to trash Massie for touting “an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country.”

It was Trump’s first post on X since early March, as the president mostly uses Truth Social.
