New video footage is spreading like wildfire across social media that managed to capture the moment former President and now-2024 Republican Presidential nominee Donald J. Trump arrived at a hospital in Butler, Pennsylvania after he was targeted in what has now formally been dubbed an assassination attempt at his campaign rally in the same city over the weekend.

Saturday evening, the country waited on bated breath as many of us watched in real-time as former President Trump was shot on his rally stage.

Ultimately, the former president was left shaken, but largely unharmed, suffering only a minor nick to the top of his right ear by an AR-15 bullet, fired from a nearby roof by the gunman who has since been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Crooks was almost immediately “neutralized” by armed forces at the rally and his death was confirmed by Butler County District Attorney Richard A Goldinger.

Federal government officials have formally determined that this was, in fact, a bona fide assassination attempt against Donald Trump and it is being investigated as such.

In the moments directly after shots rang out at the Butler, PA event, and Secret Service agents swarmed the stage and tackled Trump to the ground as they removed him from the stage and into his motorcade, Americans were left largely unclear on the former president’s condition.

While we all witnessed Trump stand up on the stage, with blood splattered across his face but alive, no one was really sure what happened, where he’d been hit, what he’d been hit with, or if the injury was serious.

Donald’s protective detail, of course, immediately moved the ex-president into his motorcade and transported him to the nearest hospital.

Reporting from the Daily Beast confirmed that Donald Trump was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, very close to where the rally and the attack took place.

Now, new footage is making the rounds on social media that was recorded by someone in the waiting room at Butler Memorial Hospital that managed to capture the moment the former president arrived at and entered the Emergency Room, directly after the attempt on his life.

In the video clip, we see the former president’s motorcade parked at the entrance of the hospital building.

We quickly see Secret Service agents scrambling out of the vehicles and begin to make their way into the Emergency Room with an injured Donald Trump.

While we can’t see Trump himself very clearly in the clip, his protective detail is easily recognizable.

As Trump begins to come into the building, we can hear others in the ER waiting room beginning to wail about the former president:
