Reporter Asks Kayleigh McEnany About Her 2015 Comments That Trump’s Remarks On Mexican Immigrations Were “Racist,” She Responds By Blaming CNN: “I Was Watching CNN And I Was Naively Believing Some Of The Headlines”

Oof. Good luck gettin' outta that one, lady.

Donald Trump’s administration, over the past three years, has seen more than its fair share of press secretaries, each one more bitter and useless than the last, if you ask me.

Much like many of the other positions in that three-ring circus, it’s not one that stays filled by one person for long. However, I can’t personally recall a single former Press Secretary to Donald Trump that has talked as much shit about the guy in the past.

Now, don’t get me wrong, Sarah Sanders’ newest replacement, Kayleigh McEnany, has always been a big ole flamin’ hunk of garbage.

But in a “past life” she wasn’t nearly as fond of President Donald Trump and his antics as she plays on TV now. In fact, she used to be pretty heavily hypocritical of him. And she found herself straight called out on as much today.

During a White House press briefing, a long-standing tradition that has only recently been picked back up by McEnany since the Trump administration took hold, a reporter questioned her regarding her comments back in 2015, in which she called Trump’s remarks on immigrants from Mexico “racist.”

But don’t you worry, it seems Kayleigh was prepared with a list of Trump-approved responses, complete with dumping the blame at the feet of CNN.

“Well, I’m actually glad you asked that. Because for about the first four weeks of the election I was watching CNN and I was naively believing some of the headlines that I saw on CNN,” McEnany answered.

“I very quickly came around to supporting the president,” the new press secretary continued, before going on to trash the person who conducted the analysis on her past and pretty much told him to worry about CNN instead of her.

“I support this president. There is no questioning that,” McEnany continued when asked if she was walking back her previous statements regarding Trump’s racism. “So honored to work for him.”

Honestly, though, I’m just wondering how long it will be before she’s replaced as well. Because I’m willing to bet Trump had no idea about that little tidbit until now.
