Renowned former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner recently made an appearance on MSNBC, just mere moments after scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump made a deeply unhinged, all-caps statement on his Truth Social platform in the early hours of the morning, claiming that he would be arrested on Tuesday of this week, based on the recent leaks out of the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, and appearing to once again incite his supporters to violence, much in the way we saw on January 6th, 2021. According to Kirschner, Trump’s panicked social media posts will ultimately come back to haunt him in the future possible indictments still looming over his head.
Over the course of the past week or two, damning leaks have come out of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s investigation, and quickly went viral in the media cycle, indicating that an official criminal indictment against former US President Donald Trump is now only a matter of when, not if. Additional reporting in recent days has revealed that the indictment is so widely expected, DA Bragg has personally requested a meeting with the NYPD, as sources confirm that New York authorities are already beginning to meet up and prepare the city’s security measures as officials brace for an impending indictment against ex-President Donald Trump as early as next week.
This is clearly beginning to set in for the former president, as he mentally broke down over his clearly impending arrest. Speaking with MSNBC host Katie Phang, Kirschner said that the two manic, unhinged, all-caps posts made by Trump will come back to haunt him in the eyes of the law — because the former president is fully aware of what he’s doing when he calls his rabid, violent supporters to action.
“I would slap a government exhibits sticker on this post and I would introduce it at his criminal trial,” Kirschner said. “And this is a dark moment in our nation’s history.”

The former federal prosecutor went on to explain, “Because what we have just seen is basically, ‘come to D.C. on January 6th. Will be wild 2.0.’ And I am sorry to say that for months I have been saying on air and online, that the moment Donald Trump knows he’s been indicted, his first post will be come to Manhattan or come to Georgia for my arraignment — will be wild.”
“He knows precisely what he is doing,” Kirschner said. “He used similar language to incite, first of all, to entice his supporters to come to D.C. on January 6th. and then he proceeded to incite imminent, lawless action and he has done it all over again.”
“But, everything Donald Trump does is a miscalculation Katie, and here is why,” he went on to tell the MSNBC host. “He has now just given the judge that will preside over his arraignment hearing food for thought about what kind of conditions should be set for the release of this dangerous man pending trial.”
