It’s no secret at this point that Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign just is not going well, in any conceivable way. The scandal-ridden former president has lost hordes of support across the board, among his average American voters, some of his staunchest loyalists in government, and even the tried and true evangelical crowd, who once believed this guy to be the second coming of Christ himself.
As his struggling campaign seems to just get worse and worse with each passing day at this point, it seems the former guy is really starting to get his feelings hurt over the whole ordeal, resulting in him viciously lashing out at the evangelical leaders who he feels have not been supportive enough, or have entirely abandoned his 2024 presidential run altogether.
Trump’s public gripe came during a recent phone appearance on Real America’s Voice, where he took the opportunity to publicly call out what he called the “great disloyalty” in politics, with specific attention to the support he’s garnered (or not) among the devout evangelical leader crowd. To get a little more specific still, it seems that Donald is particularly upset with the fact that he has yet to receive any official endorsements from these far-Right religious leaders, including infamous pastor and televangelist Robert Jeffress.
Speaking with host of The Water Cooler, David Brody, Trump fumed, “That’s a sign of disloyalty. There’s a great disloyalty in the world of politics and that’s a sign of disloyalty.”

When it comes to Jeffress specifically, the televangelist had previously vowed that he would “happily” support Donald Trump should he become the Republican Party’s presidential nominee. However, we are now several weeks removed from Trump’s official 2024 campaign launch, and Jeffress still has not endorsed the former president.
Of course, Trump desperately tried to insist that he doesn’t actually “care” if evangelical leaders endorse him for president or not but wasted absolutely no time in using the same breath to heavily tout himself as the best thing that ever happened to the evangelical crowd — specifically citing his appointment of Supreme Court judges who would go on to overturn Roe V. Wade last year.
“Nobody has ever done more for right to life than Donald Trump,” the washed-up former guy whined.
And, despite not caring at all about this whole ordeal, Donald went on to openly chastise evangelical voters for, in his opinion, failing to fight hard enough for the GOP during the recent, lackluster midterm elections, where the Republican Party failed to overturn Congress as a whole and only secured the House by an embarrassingly razor-thin margin.
“I thought they could’ve fought much harder during the election, the ’22 election,” Trump said of the evangelical crowd in reference to the midterm election, in which he unsurprisingly supported several conspiracy theories and unproven claims of fraud against some of his chosen candidates who lost their races.
“A lot of them didn’t fight or weren’t really around to fight, and it did energize the Democrats. But a lot of the people that wanted and fought for years to get it, they sort of… they were there protesting and doing what they could have done,” he complained.
