Trump Rattles Off List Of “Very Good” Republicans And It Seems Mike Pence’s Name Is Nowhere To Be Found

Ouch. I think someone's holding a grudge.

Former President Donald Trump has seemingly been venturing out a bit more here lately after losing the White House to now-President Joe Biden. For the first several weeks, we didn’t see hide nor tail of the guy. But it seems as though his need for attention and validation has gotten the better of him as he’s been making his way back into the public eye the last few weeks.

Trump seemed to start with a few “official statements,” that were the equivalent of tweets of paper since he doesn’t actually have a Twitter anymore. But now it appears as though he’s ready to take the next step, with public interviews.

This morning, he had an interview with Fox News’ Harris Faulkerson, and frankly, it went about as well as you’d expect. The host herself stuck her foot in her mouth when she announced the resignation of a Biden administration official that never happened, only for Trump to get rather miffed with her later in the interview when she referred to him as an ex-president.

Recently, the former president made another “public” appearance when he participated in a radio interview with conservative radio host Lisa Boothe. It seemed to go a little better for Trump than the Fox interview. However, not so much for his former Vice President.

During the appearance, Trump rattled off a list of names of Republican leaders and potential 2024 presidential candidates that he deemed “very good.”

Noticeably absent from that list was his former right-hand man.

In the list, Donald included Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem. But Pence’s name was nowhere to be found.

And it seems that the former president is still holding a grudge against his old VP for not doing more to somehow sway the election back in his favor when Congress certified the Electoral College votes.

“It’s too bad Mike Pence didn’t [refuse to certify the election’s results], because you would have had a much different result had Mike Pence gone — he could have said, ‘I’m sorry, but this was not approved by the state legislature, and according to the Constitution, it had to be’,” Trump stated.

Business Insider reports that Pence has allegedly been floating the idea of a 2024 presidential run if Trump ends up sitting that election out. But those reports have seemingly done nothing to staunch the criticism from his former boss.
