Americans are continuing to ask questions about President Trump’s health, after reports of a mysterious doctor’s visit over the weekend.
As reported by The Daily Beast, Trump made what was described as an “unscheduled visit” to a dentist in Florida, despite an on-set dental office being available in the White House.
Dr. Jonathan Reiner, a physician who often makes comments about Trump’s health, noted on X that “The White House has had a dental operatory since the Hoover Admin. Routine dental exams can be done in the WH… There’s been such lack of candor about the health of the president that even a visit to the dentist raises questions.”
There’s been such lack of candor about the health of the president that even a visit to the dentist raises questions. The WH has a dental operatory (Pres Biden had a root canal there) so why a Sat morning visit in Florida? Maybe he just likes this dentist. https://t.co/MNX1mRsVsA

Whatever the story was with the dental visit, Americans are beginning to lose faith in Trump’s health, especially as his 80th birthday approaches this summer.
The Washington Post has released a poll showing that, overall, Trump’s approval has reached a new low.
“The Republican Party faces a deteriorating political climate, with Americans broadly dissatisfied with President Donald Trump’s leadership on the Iran war and other key issues and an electorate in which Democrats are significantly more motivated to vote,” the Post said in its write-up of the poll.
“Americans disapprove of his handling of the situation with Iran by 66 percent to 33 percent. His rating on the economy has declined by seven points, to 34 percent, as gas prices have spiked. His approval rating on inflation has fallen five points in that time to 27 percent and his lowest rating comes on perceptions of his handling of the general cost of living, with 23 percent approving vs. 76 percent disapproving.”
There are also specific concerns about Trump’s health.
In addition, per the Post, “a growing share of Americans question Trump’s mental acuity for the position. Nearly 6 in 10 (59 percent) say he does not have the mental sharpness, and a majority (55 percent) say he is not in good enough physical health to serve effectively. Both are slightly more negative than they were in the February survey and are significantly more negative than last September.”
