Melania Seen On Video Doing Her Own Version Of Trump’s Signature Dance During NYE Celebration

New Year’s Eve came on strong at Mar-a-Lago, where President-elect Donald Trump looked like the perfect candidate for the old folk’s home as he did his infamous “dance,” as Elon Musk, the current object of his affection copied him. Even Melania got in on the act, clapping her hands and singing to “YMCA,” the song that’s a favorite of the once, and unfortunately, future president.

We know the rarely seen former first lady was in attendance, because the clip was originally posted by Don Jr. to his Instagram, and then picked up and posted on X by the right-wing rag, The New York Post.

Here’s Melania, in all her glory below.

Of course, folks on X had all sorts of words of encouragement for Melania, as they typically do.

“Doing anything not to accidentally touch the guy next to her,” @ChrisBrey1 observed.

@minus_aaron noted:

‘This doesn’t mean anything anymore when he’s no longer dancing for Americans.”

@WorldAltMedia quipped that what has been unsqueezed can never be squeezed again:

“This isn’t working anymore. They squeezed out the toothpaste and they can’t get it back into the bottle.”

Meanwhile, @alisonnj posted:

“Ewwww. How pathetic.”

But Melania wasn’t the only one hamming it up at Mar-a-Lago.

Elonald (Musk and Trump) were flouting their bromance but I have to wonder how long this rom-com will last. Trump almost always turns on those in his orbit. I mean, during his disastrous first presidency, he practically fired everyone (not quite but almost) around him. Former Attorney General Bill Barr left under his own steam (barely) before the end of Trump’s first term. Brad Parscale, Trump’s campaign manager for his failed 2020 reelection bid was “replaced” by Bill Stepien, a former aide to Chris Christie. Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s acting White House Chief of Staff, who was also “replaced,” this time by Mark Meadows, who has been up to his eyeballs in his own Trump-related problems.

Musk, at 53, is well-ensconced in middle age but Trump should be dancing in an old fart’s home. And if you think I’m being disrespectful to old folks, I already are one. I’m 65. We old farts know who we are.

Anyway, @thetrueshelby also noted that Trump belongs in a “Senior Center.”

Shelby is not wrong. But what’s fun here is that at least one X user sniped at Melania to insult her husband. It’s pure social media gold.

Others said what the rest of us are thinking.

Frankly, the two of them are pathetic. Musk is obviously only interested in Trump because he believes the President-elect will let him run the country. Which is exactly why people call him President Musk. I’m quite sure that will end when Trump realizes Musk is grabbing all the attention and not him.

We are truly living in sad times, with these two fools at the helm.
