One Virginia grocery shopper has us all ready to line up to buy them a drink after they brutally called out Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin smack dab in the middle of the grocery store for not wearing a face mask inside the establishment, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

A new report from Business Insider, as well as video footage, allowed us to witness this brutally delicious callout.

The newly-elected Republican governor was inside a Safeway grocery store in the liberal-heavy city of Alexandria, VA, earlier this week, when an unnamed, masked customer shouted out, “Governor, where’s your mask?”

Local WUSA9 reporter Matthew Torres tweeted out video footage of the confrontation.

“We’re all making choices today,” Youngkin responded to the woman who called him out in the middle of the store, where he was trying to promote his plan to eliminate grocery taxes.

But the Safeway shopper wasn’t letting the GOP governor off that easily.

“Yeah, look around you governor, you’re in Alexandria,” the woman shot back at Youngkin. “Read the room, buddy!”

The Republican state official appeared to ignore the woman’s additional comments toward him.

On Friday, the day after the public confrontation, a spokesperson for Youngkin gave a statement to Insider, saying, “The governor often says if you want to wear a mask, wear a mask, but in Virginia, you get to choose.”

Youngkin, of course, is already in hot water so early on in his gubernatorial career as he faces down numerous lawsuits over the executive order he issued last month on his very first day in office, that effectively banned any and all mask mandates in the state of Virginia.
