The FCC Reportedly Investigating Certain American Media And Other Companies Over Their Potential Ties To Russian Ownership, It Could Be Absolutely Huge

Fox News better tread VERY carefully.

The mounting tensions between Ukraine and Russia hit a catastrophic head after Russian dictatorial President Vladimir Putin gave a surprise speech at around 5:00 AM Moscow time on February 24th, 2022, essentially declaring war on Ukraine and announcing a “special military action” against the country. Within literal moments of his surprise speech, missiles were launched on the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv. To make matters that much worse, just a few hours later, Putin released another announcement, threatening “consequences… never seen in history” against any nation that dared to retaliate against Russia for the invasion and attack against Ukraine — essentially, he threatened nuclear action, stopping just short of verbally saying as much.

We’ve watched in collective horror as multiple, notable Republican figures publicly praised, defended, and excused the Russian dictator, including former President Donald Trump, who’s long been known for his admiration of Vladimir Putin.

But it seems the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has had it up to here when it comes to letting the media get away with it.

According to a new report from CNN, the FCC is officially launching an investigation into American media, telecommunication, and infrastructure companies for potential Russian ownership ties.

The CNN report reads:

Conducted jointly with the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, the FCC review covers more than just media entities regulated by the FCC’s broadcast licensing program, the person said. It also covers a vast array of telecommunications and infrastructure companies, including wireless providers, submarine cable operators, and foreign telecom services that connect US-international phone calls, the person said.

It is not yet clear how many companies with ties to Russia the review may uncover, the person said, describing the initiative as a ‘top-to-bottom’ effort to ‘identify the universe of licensees that have Russian ownership that should be on our radar.'”

Red flags were reportedly raised by ultra-Right wing companies such as, you guessed it, Fox News, which has been actively engaging in pro-Russia coverage, even after the attack on Ukraine. Any company that is found through the FCC’s investigation to have ownership ties to Russia can, and likely will, be deemed a security threat to the United States and could potentially be entirely ejected from America.

Frankly, there are numerous media outlets out there right now that should be taking this investigation very seriously and be very wary of what the FCC may soon uncover in their review. Any outlet or publication found to be publishing or reporting pro-Putin media can and will raise a red flag in this investigation.

This new FCC probe serves as one of many indicators that President Biden and his administration are not messing around when it comes to their response to the Russian war on Ukraine. This investigation could very well serve as the catalyst we have all been desperately waiting for to expose the deep Russian persuasion among the Conservative media, and finally flush the Russian propaganda out of the US for once and for all.
