Finally!!!

Just earlier today we reported that New York Attorney General Letitia James has had enough, as reports indicated that she went to court today to call upon a judge to force Donald Trump and his two eldest children to comply with subpoenas she issued to the family back in December.

Just now, Donald Trump has suffered what is probably his most massive loss.

According to a breaking news report from The Associated Press, Judge Arthur Engoron who heard arguments on the matter this morning has officially ruled that Donald J. Trump and his two eldest children, Ivanka and Don Jr., must comply with the subpoenas issued to them by Attorney General James, and therefore will be required to testify in the investigation under oath.

Engoron said that the ex-president as well as his children must sit for a deposition within 21 days.

“In the final analysis, a State Attorney General commences investigating a business entity, uncovers copious evidence of possible financial fraud, and wants to question, under oath, several of the entities’ principals, including its namesake. She has the clear right to do so,” the judge’s ruling reads.

The AP reports that the decision came “after a two-hour hearing with lawyers for the Trumps and James’ office.”

It’s undeniable that Trump and his legal team will soon appeal the judge’s decision if they haven’t started the process already. However, if his appeal is denied, as many of them have been, the former president will be put in a particularly interesting position when he’s forced to choose between answering their questions truthfully while under oath, or remaining silent through the use of his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
