The Kevin McCarthy Vs. Matt Gaetz Feud Turned Downright Nasty After The Ex-House Speaker Suggested Gaetz Could Be "On Something"

The ongoing feud between disgraced former Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Florida far-Right Republican House Rep. Matt Gaetz officially got nasty.

Both of the two MAGA loyalist Republicans attended the Republican National Convention, where Donald J. Trump and his VP running mate pick, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, were formally confirmed as the RNC’s 2024 presidential and vice presidential nominees — just days after someone quite literally tried to assassinate Trump.

The pair have been beefing for I don’t even know how long now after Gaetz played a very large role in McCarthy’s term as House Speaker being the shortest one this country’s ever seen.

Recently, we reported on the altercation between Gaetz and McCarthy, when the Florida House Rep. basically attempted to heckle McCarthy during an interview on the RNC floor, making fun of Kevin for not having a speech at this year’s event — only for Gaetz’s face to look like a feature of the worst episode of Botched you’ve ever seen when he delivered his last night.

Following their bizarre confrontation earlier that evening, McCarthy went on to speak with CNN one-on-one, where the spat was obviously brought back up, as the interviewer asked for Kevin’s take on the whole ordeal.

And that’s when Kevin McCarthy decided to deliver multiple below-the-belt hits against the guy who’s been credibly accused of being sexually involved with teenagers.

“He looks very unhinged. A lot of people have concerns about him, and I’m not sure if he was on something,” McCarthy told the CNN host, implying that Gaetz could be on some sort of drugs. “But I do hope that he gets the help that he needs. More importantly, I hope the young women get the justice they deserve when it comes to him.”
